He worked as a veterinarian, then a college and university lecturer, university professor, director general (Faculty of Animal Health/Animal Breeding/Agriculture), deputy rector (University of Szeged). Description:
“The invention relates to the prevention and treatment of oesophagogastric ulcers in porkers by a process in swine production in which 5-8 mg/kg body weight of copper(II) aspirinate is added to the feedstuff continuously from the age of weaned piglets until the end of their fattening.
The invention also relates to the production of a feed additive for the prevention and treatment of oesophagogastric ulcer by adding 1–3% of body weight of copper(II) aspirinate to the substances and additives normally used in the preparation of premixes and additives.
Using the pig breeding process according to the invention, the damage caused by oesophagogastric ulcer in pigs may be completely eliminated, and the animals utilize feeds better, and reach slaughter weight faster and with less feed consumption.”
